The objective of this project was to choose a book and redesign its cover. I picked one of my favorite books called The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. I created three different designs, all depicting certain aspects from the book's plot and storyline.
I chose to include math language and imagery because the main character is a math prodigy and much of the plot involves his special ability.
This cover features cars because the main character believes that if he sees five red cars in a row, it will be a good day.
This cover was inspired by Broadway Show playbills and depicts a pitchfork and a dog since the main plot revolves around the murder of a dog.
